Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that you’re new to the career process, so here are some helpful tips that can help you best prepare.

What format should I use to submit my resume?

We prefer to receive your resume as a Word, PDF, or text file attachment. If you are reorganizing your resume, please use the following guidelines:

  • Your name, address, phone number(s), and e-mail address
  • A brief summary of your experience
  • The type of position(s) you are looking for
  • Your work experience
  • Education
  • Professional recognitions

What do I need to bring with me to the interview?

If we’re recruiting on your campus, any required documents will be listed in the position description posted with the career services office. A copy of your transcripts is always required for campus-based interviews (unofficial is fine for the interview) .

What should I wear to my interview?

Business attire is the appropriate attire for interviews.

What position am I interviewing for?

We may not be able to tell you exactly what position (project and location) you are interviewing for because our project work varies. We will talk to you about specific kinds of jobs to understand your strengths and interests. A few weeks before your start date, we will work with you to determine a project that fits with your skills.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my interview?

Please call +1 (888) SRA-HIRE to arrange another interview date. Although we will do everything we can to reschedule your interview, it’s not always possible because of the logistics involved in campus-based recruiting.
