IT70: Section 508
In 1998, Congress amended the Rehabilitation Act to require Federal agencies to make their electronic and information technology accessible to people with disabilities. Inaccessible technology interferes with an individual.s ability to obtain and use information quickly and easily. Systems Research and Applications Corporation recognizes and acknowledges the requirement for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Accessibility standards within 36 CFR part 1194.
Systems Research and Applications Corporation shall comply with Section 508 and the applicable standards, functional performance criteria and support required for each IT deliverable as specified in the task order award.
