Many federal agencies are required to inventory and actively track the security posture of their IT systems to comply with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). SRA developed ASSERT©, an enterprise-wide FISMA management software tool, to track IT assets and vulnerability, measure performance and collect and manage data. ASSERT is now a robust government-off-the-shelf product offered to other federal agencies through the five-member ASSERT Consortium. We are committed to the ongoing evolution of ASSERT and other FISMA tools and methods that best support and enhance the government’s ISS program.
