Data collection and organization
ORIONMagic® aggregates data from multiple sources and presents it in logical, manageable categories. The tool lets you conveniently link back to, and maintain the original source document automatically no matter where the information is placed. A simple drag-and-drop feature lets you transfer data and images from its browser tab to an ORIONMagic® Notecard to organize and highlight just the information you need.
Search
With ORIONMagic, you can simultaneously process hundreds of searches from text files, documents, web pages and databases located on computers, networks or the Internet. The patented matrix search technology lets you conduct advanced searches and create, define and customize your own search concepts. These link diagrams show complex relationships between two or more entities and can easily be manipulated and saved or used within reports.
A Chart feature provides search results in 2D or 3D to easily visualize case relationships, trends and patterns.
Analysis
ORIONMagic helps teams assemble and reuse investigation-specific terms and phrases to perform relational analysis. Using keywords, phrases and concepts, you can explore many investigational aspects simultaneously. LinkAnalysis is an advanced feature that creates link diagrams, in 2D or 3D, to easily visualize case relationships, trends and patterns.
Reporting
ORIONMagic lets you easily and instantly create custom reports using standard drag and drop techniques. You can print directly from the system or open in the report in Microsoft Word or the Internet. You can print the report directly from within the program, save the report as an HTML file, open the report in Microsoft Word, or e-mail the report via Microsoft Outlook.
