Ramble Specifications
Ramble can be run on any BlackBerry with Operating System version 4.0 or higher. You will need a valid AOL Instant Messenger Login. In order for the Over-The-Air installation to work, your device must be able to install 3rd party applications and access the public internet. Check with your system administrator for further details.
While Ramble provides many of the capabilities of an Instant Messenger client, it is not intended to replace the AOL Instant Messenger client. Certain features, such as File Exchanges, Customizable fonts, Screen Name Aliases and Links, and many other advanced capabilities are not supported. For more details, see the user guide.
Ramble is not Mac compatible. Users of iChat cannot login to Ramble because Ramble connects directly to the AOL Instant Message server, while iChat users connect via a Jabber connection which provides a relay to the AOL network.
