Capabilities

The complexity of security risks is on the rise and becoming more difficult to manage every day. SRA offers an enterprise-wide strategy and services that can help your organization proactively reduce its risk exposure. We analyze and manage the current and future risks to systems, infrastructures, information and operations caused by man-made threats and natural hazards. This process quantifies and prioritizes the potential impact and likelihood of risks.

The management of security risks impacts every organization’s ability to secure itself and effectively allocate resources. SRA supports the full spectrum of enterprise risk management for one of the nation’s most populous and economically developed states. SRA’s Critical Infrastructures / Key Resources (CI/KR) experts and assessors, intelligence analysts, security risk management experts and support staff facilitate a holistic security risk management process. This includes intelligence collection and analysis, vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and metrics development. We also support the state’s grant and strategy development processes. Our experience creating and maintaining a risk management program of this scale and scope demonstrates SRA’s technical and thought leadership in the field of security risk management.

    • “Risk management must guide our decision-making as we examine how we can best organize to prevent, respond, and recover from an attack . . . . Our strategy is, in essence, to manage risk in terms of these three variables – threat, vulnerability, consequence. We seek to prioritize according to these variables, to fashion a series of preventive and protective steps that increase security at multiple levels.”
