SRA’s emerging technologies team works on projects requiring quick turnaround that are designed to get solutions in the hands of law enforcement and warfighters quickly. Our extensive expertise includes the development of an automated facial expression recognition system that helps law enforcement with interrogations. Using a web cam and live video steam, the system detects the seven universal human facial expressions of emotion. Additionally our work includes projects in cryptanalysis, VIP protection planning and digital image and symbolism analysis.
